HAUL: Home stuff!! Bargains!! ( Tesco, Cath Kidston, Matalan, Yankee Candle, BHS, Debenhams etc. )

Hi everyone!!
I haven't posted for a while as I have just started a new job plus a new flat is on the way!! Although it's a while 'til I move in I have still been shopping about for a few bits & bobs I need and I thought you may want to see.

Candles, of course!! Treated myself to a large jar of Bahama Breeze my all time favourite Yankee, scent throw is awesome I LOVE IT!! Got this one from Debenhams for £19.99. Also bought 2 simply home's one in Cherry Vanilla the other in Morning Blossom. Both smell amazing however the scent when burning of Cherry Vanilla isn't too strong!! These were from a local D.I.Y store randomly for £1.30 each.

The stuff from Tesco was bargain of the century!! I got these 2 cute spotty plates for 62p each!! Perfect for a little snack, also got the matching coasters for 55p for a pack ( wish I'd gotten more ): ) Plus red and black coasters for a £1 a pack.

Plus these cute owl tea light holders were 75p each!! Can't resist a cute owl :) I got these a while ago so doubt you'll find them again sadly.

This super cute door mat was from Matalan. I love the pretty roses on it, plus was only £5!!

Another Matalan purchase was this cute starfish bowl, I'm going to use it to store the soap I'm currently using in my bathroom, but it would also be perfect for nick nacks or pot pourri :) This one was only £4.

These colourful tumbler cups were £2.50 each from BHS. I'm not a fan of drinking out of glasses for some reason so these are perfect :) Plus much harder to break than glass!!
These lovely strawberry cereal bowls were £4.50 each from Cath Kidston from £6. I love these, I need the matching mugs!!
Last thing is this cute owl wind chime from Poundland. I don't have a garden in my new flat so not sure where to put it but too adorable too resist.

I have lots of other home stuff which is exciting if any of you would like to see a part 2 feel free to comment.
Thanks for reading.

REVIEW: Chanel Les Ombres Quadra eye shadow palette.

Hello everyone.
I seem to be having a huge love for Chanel beauty products at the moment! I went in to the gorgeous Covent Garden pop up beauty store ( which was beautiful! ) and picked up this beauty.

Inside the box the palette comes in a gorgeous velvet pouch to protect it.

I decided out of all the palettes to go to this one as most of the shades are semi matte and very wearable. From the top left there is a gorgeous shade of chocolate brown, it has very fine shimmer to it making it a gorgeous colour for all over the lid. Next to it we have a pinky toned off white colour, perfect for brightening the inner corner of the eye. On the next left we have a golden champagne colour, this is another great one for a lid colour. Then lastly we have the charcoal black colour, perfect for in the crease or blended on the edge of the eye. All the last 3 colours are semi matte. Also in the palette you get a large mirror at the top & two sponge tip applicators ( which we all know are quite rubbish! ).

These are light swatches of all the shadows without a primer, and as you can see the colours are pretty well pigmented even with a quick swipe! ( Sorry for my dirty looking hand! I had terribly worn off fake tan! ) These shadows last all day on my eyes even without a primer, although I do get a bit of creasing but that is usually due to my eye shape. )

I'd say if you are interested in this palette, go for it! It is incredibly beautiful and worth the hefty price if you are looking for high end eye shadows ( Palette is £38 ). The only thing I'd say is that the colours are probably very easy to dupe with mac shadows or even drug store ones. I'd say it is worth the money, if that is what you're looking for and I only use it on special occasions!
